Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Precision Peel – My Spa Experience

Anyone who knows me will know I suffer from very dry and sensitive skin, something which was caused by Roaccutane (a super intense acne treatment). I’ve struggled so much over the past few years to find products that have worked, but finally I’ve found Elemis. I’m a huge lover of this brand, which I first discovered on a trip to the gorgeous Staddle Stone Spa in Highclere, and I’ve been going back for facials ever since!

Yesterday I went on a lil trip to the Spa with my mum, and of course an Elemis facial was the treatment I was going to get! Usually when I go to see the lovely Hollie at Staddle Stone, I get the Superfood Pro-Radiance facial, as I love the superfood range and its amazing for hydrating my skin!

This time however, I decided to go for something a little bit different, I chose to have the Dynamic Resurfacing Precision Peel. This facial is advertised as an anti-aging facial, but we decided this would be a good one to go for in helping reduce the dryness and texture on my face, as well as giving me a good deep cleanse.

Hollie started off by cleansing my skin with the new Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm. This has such a lovely light rose scent, and felt amazing on my skin. It was then rinsed with lovely warm flannel mitts, which Hollie used to massage the product off.

My skin was then cleansed and exfoliated again with the Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash, this was a foaming wash which was really light, Hollie explained to me that this wash is a bit of a 3-in-1 as it cleanses, exfoliates and brightens, all in one.

Other products Hollie went on to use were the Papaya Enzyme Peel (I received a lovely arm and hand massage while this sat on my skin), followed by a selection of serums used along with an Enzyme Resurfacing Lotion, which was applied at different times throughout the treatment. The first serum was used underneath the Peel-Off Mask which helped to restore moisture levels while giving a gentle exfoliation (I had a lovely neck and shoulder massage with this one!). The second serum was applied underneath a soothing cream mask, which felt lovely and cooling. (Hollie gave me the best scalp massage while this mask was working!) The final serum was applied and left on my skin, along with a moisturiser, eye cream and lip balm.

This was such a lovely facial which I saw immeadiate results from, I was truly amazed at how these enzymes could deliver such powerful exfoliation and make my skin look so much smoother, plumper and brighter! I can’t recommend Elemis products more highly, and I 100% recommend Hollie at Staddle Stone Spa!
